About the 2024 Kilifi World Triathlon Technical Officials & Event Organisers Community Level Seminar:

Objectives
 Equip technical officials with basic triathlon officiating rules and the sports’ rules and regulation
 Create awareness of the sport within the community
 Empower the volunteers at past events

Selection Criteria.
 Selection based on experiences in the sport in the past – Volunteers,
 PE Teachers in Schools and County Association officials

Invited Nations
 East Africa Nations – Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi

Travel Subsidy

 The Course is advised to the triathlon community
 Participants will apply for the course
 A committee will shortlist the participants

Course objectives
This particular course is providing the basic knowledge that someone needs to have around event organization and competition rules. It will guide seminar participants to make sure that all World Triathlon events are guided by World Triathlon Competition Rules, the Event Organisers Manual and all other appropriate World Triathlon Competition Rules and Guidelines so that our events are safe and fair for all athletes.

This course will prepare technical officials who are in the first few years of their international triathlon officiating experience.
