Course objectives:
ITU level 1 community coaches course is for entry level participants aimed at teachers, community leaders, coaches working with kids and youth in sport.  It provides a broad overview of coaching, roles and responsibilities, teaching methodologies, sport-specific information and holistic topics (nutrition, sport psychology, growth and development, physical literacy).

Eligibility:
• Any individual with a desire to be a triathlon coach
• NF supported application
• Individuals who are a minimum of 16 years old
ITU Development to approve applications.

Evaluation:
Candidates will be evaluated on class attendance and participation. Candidates must pass the examination to get the ITU certification.

Applications:
This course is only open to coaches in Asia. All applicants for the course must complete the attached application form and return it through their federation via email to ki72@triathlon.or.kr before the 2nd of November, 2018

Course venue:
The course will take place in the Host Hotel (Sri Lanka Olympic House).

We look forward to working with everyone and making coaching education a priority in the development of a structure to support the athlete development pipeline in the coaching course.
