About the 2026 World Triathlon Technical Officials Level 1 Early Revalidation E-Seminar:

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: This course is available ONLY to TOs who are eligible to revalidate their status earlier based on the eligibility criteria. It is an invitation-only participation.

The course is at a cost of 150 USD.

Important Dates:

Start of the course: 27 July 2025
1st Deadline: 27 August 2025 - 25% of the course
2nd Deadline: 27 September 2025 - 50% of the course
3rd Deadline: 27 October 2025 - 75% of the course
Final Deadline & End of course: 27 November 2025 - 100% of the course

This course will prepare technical officials who are in the first few years of their international triathlon officiating experience. This course has a duration of 4 months. The course consists of Mandatory and Optional modules. There is no limit on the number of optional modules that a participant can select, but one will have to complete all the mandatory modules and their assignments to complete this course. Each module consists of:

Theoretical information and/or recorded videos covering the required theory
An assessment activity
A module evaluation
A self-assessment activity

Please note that this course requires a commitment from the participants who decide to enroll. The confirmed participants will receive their login information at the starting date of the course. From that point, they would need to log in to the platform in order to receive further information about the course from their facilitator.

Each participant will be assigned to a cohort. Each cohort will have a facilitator who will guide the group through discussions and monitor timelines to make the course as beneficial and interactive as possible.

World Triathlon stresses the need for technical officials to engage with other technical officials to share experiences and best practices so that everyone benefits. The World Triathlon technical official’s modules provide sound principles that form the basis of a proactive officiating practice. From these examples, technical officials will be encouraged to build on their own experiences and resources.
