About the 2026 Rio Maior World Triathlon Technical Officials & Event Organisers Level 2 Seminar:

• This is a self-funded seminar by POR NF.
• The registration fee is €50
• Applications are open to anyone eligible for Level 2 from World Triathlon List of L2 Eligible TOs:

  • 2026 Americas Triathlon - List of Eligible Officials for L2 Seminar
  • 2026 Asia Triathlon - List of Eligible Officials for L2 Seminar
  • 2026 Europe Triathlon - List of Eligible Officials for L2 Seminar
  • 2026 Oceania Triathlon - List of Eligible Officials for L2 Seminar
• Application forms must come through nominating NFs, and must be signed by the NF.

The Portuguese Triathlon Federation will provide transport to the event venue for officials travelling from abroad. To register, officials must complete the form and send it to the Portuguese Triathlon Federation.

Important Dates:

• 22 Oct 2026: Arrival
• 23-25 Oct 2026: Seminar
• 25 Oct (evening/night)/26 Oct 2026: Departure

Course Objectives:
The objective of the course is to provide participants with the theoretical and practical training required to make them capable of officiating at Continental Cups, Multisport Continental Championships, and Multisport Series Events as Technical Delegates.

• Only eligible TOs can take part in this seminar

Evaluation
Candidates will be evaluated on class attendance and pass the exam.

About the World Triathlon Technical Officials & Event Organisers Level 2 Seminar:

Level 2 The two-day course is designed to enhance the skills of the participants in officiating Continental Cups, Multisport Continental Championships, and Multisport Series Events as Technical Delegates. The knowledge they will gain will be also be used at World Triathlon Series, World Cups and Major Events as Technical Officials.
