About the 2026 Monastir World Triathlon Technical Officials Level 1 Seminar:

• This is a self-funded seminar by TUN NF. No travel or accommodation subsidy will be provided by the organisers

• The course will be open to all African nations.

• Foreign candidates wishing to attend should contact their own NF directly to enquire

  about any available support or subsidy toward travel and accommodation costs.

Selection Criteria:

• Minimum age requirement (18 years)

• Prior experience as local/community level Technical Official (at least 4 events).

• Be available to attend all course sessions, including the practical assessment on 12 September (2026 Africa Triathlon Cup Monastir)

• Demonstrate an interest in triathlon officiating and event organization.

• Good level of French and English languages.

Application process:

• Interested candidates submit an application through the National Federation.

• Applications are reviewed to confirm eligibility against the selection criteria above.

• Successful applicants are enrolled in the course, which typically combines theoretical learning (11/09/2026) with a final assessment (12/09/2026).

• Candidates who pass the assessment are certified as Level 1 Technical Officials.

About the World Triathlon Technical Officials Level 1 Education
The one-day and a half course provides the participants with the theoretical and practical training required to make them capable of officiating at National Events as a Technical Delegate and at Continental events as a Technical Official.

A note on gender equity:
World Triathlon is dedicated to providing equal opportunities to both genders in all aspects. World Triathlon Development has the gender quota (minimum 30% of the participants must be female) at Technical Officials Level 1 courses. If the 30% minimum is not obtained, the number of participants must be reduced until it is attended.
