About the 2026 Astana Team Asia:
Selection & nomination Criteria
- Athletes must be in good standings
- Athletes must be entered in the event via the online entries system for these specific events:
- Each NF may nominate a maximum of 4 athletes (2 males & 2 females)
- If more than 1 athlete is nominated, please specify them in priority order
- All application forms must be submitted by the athlete's National Federation, which must be in good standing with AST & TRI
We will provide the following for the successfully selected athletes:
- Successfully selected athletes will have a flight support between $300-$500 USD (depending on the region)
- Accommodation will be covered (maximum 3 nights) including 3 meals
- Local Transportation in KAZ
- Team Manager Support
- Pathway/Link to Team World Triathlon
Please note: the nominee's National Federation is in charge of the entry fee payment if applicable, the health and travel insurance for the entire duration of the project and any other related costs that may occur.
