About the 2025 Rio Maior World Triathlon Technical Officials Level 1 Seminar:

This is a self-funded seminar by POR Triathlon NF.

The aim of this 2025 Rio Maior World Triathlon Technical Officials Level 1 Seminar is to provide national technical officials with the knowledge, skills, and certification necessary to officiate at international level events. The participants should have previous active involvement in national events as Technical Official. The course is also open to international Technical Officials, following the same criteria as the Nacional referees. Anabela Santos is able to provide training both in Portuguese and English. 2025 Rio Maior World Triathlon Technical Officials Level 1 Seminar, which will take place in Rio Maior (Pavilhão Multiusos de Rio Maior) –  November 15th and 16th.

About the World Triathlon Technical Officials Level 1 Education
The one-day and a half course provides the participants with the theoretical and practical training required to make them capable of officiating at National Events as a Technical Delegate and at Continental events as a Technical Official.

A note on gender equity:
World Triathlon is dedicated to providing equal opportunities to both genders in all aspects. World Triathlon Development has the gender quota (minimum 25% of the participants must be female) at Technical Officials Level 1 courses. If the 25% minimum is not obtained, the number of participants must be reduced until it is attended.
