World Triathlon Women’s Committee initiatives for 2022 International Women’s Day

Mark your diary - World Triathlon invites the community to celebrate 2022 International Women’s Day by joining a series of webinars that the Women’s Committee is hosting.

“World Triathlon is committed to a gender-equal environment and a community free of bias, stereotypes and discrimination. We aspire to be diverse, equitable and inclusive,” said Marisol Casado, World Triathlon President and IOC Member.

On Tuesday, 8 March the Women’s Committee will host two webinars to accommodate various time zones and will feature an extraordinary panel of special Triathlon guests, including women across all continents, who have previously won or been nominated for the prestigious Award of Excellence. The webinars will host discussions on how Triathlon leads as a gender-equal sport and how the panel is having an impact on the sport in their region and around the world.
