SWIM COURSE

Start procedures: beach start.

Number of laps: 1

The Head Referee, with assistance from Technical Officials, who are assigned to the start, will start each race. Average water temperature: 20 °C

TRANSITION 1

A flow through transition has been developed to keep athletes moving forward. Athletes enter the transition and must deposit swim gear in an area beside the bike racks. Athletes  numbers are displayed on the top of each bike rack. After the helmet is secured, athletes unrack the bike by moving forward to the transition area exit and towards the mount line.

BIKE COURSE

Number of laps: 1

The course follow the roads around Lake Pühajärv and has one out-and-back section in the middle of the lap. The road are all asphalt.

TRANSITION 2

Athletes enter the transition and must rack the bike before unclip the helmet. Running shoes may be placed beside the rack.

RUN COURSE

Number of laps: 2

The course goes along park roads and asphalt. There is one steep climb through a forest path and ca 200m of sandy surface near the beach per lap.

There is one aid station, that is located ca 300 m after the transition area. 

 Penalty box is located on the run course.

MEDICAL SERVICES 

First Aid and will be available at the race centre before and during the training sessions and during the race. There will be First Aid and Emergency Medical Services at the Race Village on competition day.

Medical and Paramedical personnel will be available throughout the race. A medical area will be provided on site near the finish area. Medical services at the venue are free of charge. Treatment in private hospitals are to be paid by participants. Athletes / teams should make sure that they have appropriate medical insurance.

The registration of elite and junior athletes competing in the sprint distance must be made through National Federation (NF) of the participating countries. No individual registrations nor payment are allowed through the Local Organizing Committee. 

Payments must be done to Estonian Triathlon Union:

Registration deadline: 18 July 2025. National Federations will have to submit the delegation by this date.

Payment must be done in Euros and all rate mentioned include taxes and VAT.
