In Colorado, the 2026 Colorado World Triathlon Technical Officials & Event Organisers Level 2 Seminar welcomed 25 Technical Officials, with women representing 49% of participants. The seminar brought together representatives from Bermuda, Canada, Trinidad and Tobago, the USA and Puerto Rico. Victoria Brumfield, CEO of USAT, attended the programme.

“The building of the venues got very competitive, with teams bringing LEGO from home, making supply runs to stores and getting very creative with their models to the point that one group was to scale. In the end, it was impossible to pick a winner as they were all so good. I wouldn't have been surprised if a team had a structural engineer sign off on their creations if they wanted them to be that realistic.” - Leslie Buchanan (CAN), TRI Facilitator
