The 2025 World Triathlon Cup returns to Chengdu, China, where some of the world’s best will tackle a standard-distance course: a 1.5km swim, 40km bike and 10 km run. Japan’s Aoba Yasumatsu is known for his aggressive racing style and strong swim-bike combination, Yasumatsu is one to watch as he continues to climb the international rankings. Spaniard Kevin Tarek Viñuela Gonzalez comes into Chengdu with momentum after winning the 2024 Africa Triathlon Cup in Saidia and will be aiming to carry that form into the World Cup.
