Successful Level 2 Technical Officials Seminar in New Zealand
ITU Senior Manager of Technical Operations Thanos Nikopoulos conducted an ITU Technical Official Level 2 Seminar in Auckland, at the final ITU World Cup of the season.
Participants from New Zealand and Australia took part in the course organised by ITU and Oceania Triathlon Union, who had fulfilled the pre-course requirements, minimum two years as national technical officials and officiate in minimum four ITU events in the past four years.
The two-day course was designed to enhance the skills of the participants in officiating Continental Cups, Multisport Continental Championships, and Multisport Series Events as Technical Delegates. The knowledge they will gain will also be used at World Championships, World Cups and Major Events as Technical Officials.
