World Triathlon

The 2018 Mariental ATU Triathlon African Cup will be hosted by the Namibian Triathlon Federation in conjunction with the Mariental Club

It will be open to:
• Elites / U23-Elites
• Age Groupers
• And Teams

Triathlon Distances
• Elites & U/23’s will only be the Olympic (1,5km swim-40km bike-10km run)
• Age Groupers and Teams will only be Sprint (750m swim-20km bike-5km run)

Age Group Categories for Sprint Distance
• Youth (13-15)
• Junior (16-19)
• Senior (20-29)
• Sub - Vet (30-39)
• Vet (40-49)
• Masters (50-59)
• Grand Masters (60-69+)

Teams – Will be Sprint only
• Male teams
• Female teams
• Mixed teams (2x ladies, 1x man)

Difference between Olympic Distance Race and the Sprint Races (Sprint Individuals & Sprint Teams)

• Only Elites & U23-Elites will get Prize Purse ITU podium Money & ATU-Podium Medals
• Age Group Sprint Distance - will get Finisher Mariental Medals and ATU -Podium Medals
• Teams - will get Finisher Mariental Medals and Mariental -Podium Medals as always

Elite Entry fee of U$ 250 Includes
• The custom event shirt
