2025 Europe Triathlon Sprint and Relay Championships Melilla Event Information

Venue Information

The main venue will be located at Plaza de las Culturas, heart of the city in Melilla, sorounded by restaurants, shops, and full of activity

Next to it, and at Playa de los Galápagos, the swim course will take place, in an icoinc beach with the ancient wall around it

Bike and run course will be mostly flat, but technical; but the run course will have a hill just 500 meters before the finish running through part of the anciente wall

Travel & Accommodation

Closest Airport

Melilla (MEL), with direct flights from the most important cities in Spain, but specially Madrid and Malaga

There is an option travelling to Nador in Morrocco, with a driving distance of 30 minutes, but is important to take into consideration to cross the border and potential delays

Transport

By plane

As it is explained Melilla (ESP) and Nador (MOR), only taking into consideration the time at the border, that is unexpected

Arriving at Melilla airport: Transfers are not needed, as the easiest, faster and cheaper is to take a taxi to the specific hotel (less than 10 €)

Arriving at Nador airport: Transfers will be organized by Alborannia Travel Agency, with experience to do transfers from Morrocco to Melilla. For quotation and information contact Oscar González, email oscar.gonzalez@alborannia.es

By boat

There is an alternative, that can work that is to travel to Málaga by plane, and then in Málaga rent a van and transfer bikes and/or persons to Melilla
