I am pleased to welcome all participants and attendees to the 2025 West Asia Triathlon Championship. The UAE has now become the sporting capital for triathlon in the region, hosting the largest competitions and events that bring together elite athletes from around the world. This event highlights the UAE's commitment to strengthening its position as a global sports hub and supporting the growth of triathlon at all levels. Thanks to the wise vision of our leadership and continuous support from all stakeholders, we have been able to position the UAE as a leader in organizing this prestigious sport. We look forward to this championship being another milestone that showcases our organizational capabilities and enhances the status of triathlon in the region and globally. I would like to express my sincere thanks to His Royal Highness Prince Fahd bin Jalawi, President of the Asian Triathlon Federation and the West Asia Triathlon Federation, for his unwavering support and dedication to the development of triathlon across Asia. Additionally, I extend my gratitude to everyone who contributed to organizing this championship, from sponsors and partners to volunteers, and I wish all the participating athletes success in achieving their best results and enjoying a unique sporting experience.
