Travellers from outside South Africa will have to transfer from Johannesburg or Cape Town airports onto a domestic flight to Gqeberha (formerly Port Elizabeth).

Check with your hotel / B&B, most offer secure shuttle services to and from the airport.

The 2025 Africa Championship is in partnership with the City Lodge Hotels Group  for preferential rates for all our athletes and families. The Group has 4 hotels all within 1km of the Race Village and on the beachfront.

Race briefings will take place at the Town Lodge Hotel Conference Centre so this hotel would be our recommendation.
