Tahiti Federation is holding a Sprint Distance Age Group race same day as Oceania Cup. Please contact: tahititri@mail.pf

The LOC has set registration fees for the race on September 16th, 2012 at USD 150 per athlete.

Said registration fees include all transfers, pick-up at airport and transportation to hotel, transportation from hotel to briefing, welcome dinner, race package and race entry fee and return transfer from hotel to airport.

The LOC has also set the registration deadline at August 22nd, 2012 at midnight.

Invoices will then be issued and sent out for payment by August 31st, 2012 at midnight.

There is a no cancellation policy after the above August 22nd, 2012 deadline.

COURSES

The Oceania Cup is a Sprint race with a 750m lagoon swim starting from the pontoon of the Manava Suite Resort Hotel to the Orohiti transition zone area.  The lagoon water temperature is in excess of 26°C so it is a non-wet suit swim.

The bike course is a 4x5km loop flat course around a street pilon at either end with no car traffic.

The run course is a 4x1.25km loop course mostly flat with a slight uphill to the turn around point (also around a street pilon) and then back down to the starting turn around point.

Weather in Tahiti is extremely hot and humid (usually between 28 and 30°C in September).
