In this role under the direction of the QAS Head Coach – Triathlon you will have the primary responsibility of assisting with the coaching and managing QAS triathletes. The Assistant Coach – Triathlon will support talented Queensland triathletes to achieve at their highest level of sporting performance as well as helping them with their personal, educational and professional development.

Principal responsibilities of this role

{exp:list_maker}Assist with identification and selection of athletes for the QAS Triathlon Program.
Design and implement a high performance Triathlon training program that includes group and individual sessions.
Design and implement a high performance Triathlon competition schedule.
Under the direction of the Head Coach – Triathlon, organise all financial and administrative aspects of the Triathlon program including the preparation of the yearly operational plan and program budget.
Provide regular written and oral reports to the Head Coach – Triathlon.
Maintain a good working relationship with all key stakeholders.
Meet and liaise with media and attend official government functions.{/exp:list_maker}
