A lack of adequate water quality results in Nur-Sultan has forced us to make changes to the Nur-Sultan World Cup on 15 June. We do not wish to put the health of our athletes in any risk. The safety of our athletes is of paramount importance and this decision has not been taken lightly. The lack of a latest water quality result along with observations in the body of water led to the ITU cancelling the swim leg. All participating athletes have been informed and were informed of this possibility during the briefing. The race will now consist of a 5km run, 40km bike, 10km run.
