Nicole Klinger became Liechtenstein's sportwoman of the year 2008

Nicole Klinger, aged 28 years, was elected Liechtenstein’s sportswoman of the year 2008 at the NOC’s annual sports celebration party on December 17th in Vaduz.

“I was quite surprised to win as I had a difficult season in 2008” said Klingler in a telephone interview. Her best result in 2008 was her bronze medal at the ETU Long Distance Triathlon European Championships in Gerardmer, France.
