Help shape how Europe Triathlon communicates with the triathlon community across Europe and beyond.
Europe Triathlon is seeking an experienced and motivated Communications Manager to join our team and play a central role in developing and delivering our communications across media, digital platforms, events and internal stakeholders.
Working closely with our National Federations, World Triathlon and the wider Europe Triathlon team, the Communications Manager will help strengthen our voice, grow our digital presence and ensure clear and consistent communication across all channels.
The role
The Communications Manager will be responsible for supporting Europe Triathlon’s internal and external communications and ensuring our stories, activities and achievements reach the right audiences.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting the development and delivery of internal and external communications strategies.
Managing media relations, press releases and relationships with journalists.
Creating engaging content for the website, newsletters and social media.
Coordinating internal communications across the Board, staff, committees and event organisers.
Managing digital channels and monitoring performance and engagement.
Ensuring consistent brand messaging and protecting Europe Triathlon’s reputation.
Supporting crisis communications when required.
Tracking, analysing and reporting on communications performance.
Supporting the communication and promotion of Europe Triathlon events and programmes.
Who we are looking for:
We are looking for a proactive and creative communications professional with experience in communications, public relations or digital media.
The successful candidate will have excellent writing and storytelling skills, strong organisational abilities and confidence using social media platforms, CMS tools and analytics.
You will be able to work independently, manage multiple projects and deadlines, and collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. An interest in sport, and triathlon in particular, would be a strong advantage.
