Throughout her 16 years of Presidency, Casado has been a trailblazer for the sport, leaving behind a powerful legacy rooted in growth, gender balance, inclusivity, and sustainability. Under her guidance, World Triathlon has thrived as a financially stable organization, fully integrated into the Olympic and Paralympic programs, with 172 National Federations actively participating in the sport. Her commitment to promoting gender balance and equal opportunities in triathlon has made a lasting impact, ensuring that women have a prominent voice within the organization and across the sport.
In addition to her pivotal role at World Triathlon, Casado's career at the International Olympic Committee (IOC) has been exemplary. A respected member of the IOC, she has served on six commissions, contributing her expertise and passion for the promotion of sports. With her transition to an IOC Honorary Member, approved in the recent IOC Assembly, she remains closely connected to the Olympic movement, continuing her advocacy for sports development worldwide.
