Less than two months until #Fyn2018
Everything is starting to fall into place with just slightly less that two months untill the second edition of the ITU Multisport World Championships Festival – which, thanks to strong local support by the local bank Fynske Bank, is now officially named Fynske Bank Multisport World Championships Festival. We’re confident that this partnership will help us fulfill our ambition to provide a world-class experience for all athletes going to Fyn this summer – and we can’t wait to welcome you all in July!
Lots of athletes already booked their hotel and flights. If you’re seeking transportation options, we encourage you to visit the ”Getting Here” section on the website. Here you’ll find thorough descriptions on how to get to Odense, Svendborg and Middelfart from the main Danish airports via public transportation or by booking private transport through our shuttle partner Tri-Rejser.
We also updated the shuttle section on our website! Hosting the Fynske Bank Multisport World Championships Festival across the beautiful island of Fyn gives all the athletes and spectators an unique opportunity to experience all three unique host cities: Odense, Svendborg and Middelfart. Denmark has excellent public transportation, which connects the island by train and bus. Not keen on going by public transportation in a foreign country? We’ve got you covered! Everyone can book family shuttle through this link.
Want to have a closer look at the courses – or maybe even get a taste of the World Championships courses on your home trainer? Good news! We’ve updated the course section on the website with .GPX files of all the courses. Please note, that the courses are still subject to change – we want to make sure the courses provides the best possible conditions for your World Championships experience, so we preserve the right to keep fine tuning and optimize. But don’t worry – all details regarding the courses will be provided in the Athlete Guides.
Follow along with all the action on social media. Find us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram – and don’t forget to share your training progress using the #HighFiveFyn hashtag.
See you soon!
