El pasado fin de semana, la Marina Hemingway de La Habana, Cuba, fue escenario de la primera Copa Panamericana de Triatlón del año. El evento reunió a varios destacados triatletas de la región, quienes estuvieron compitieron en las categorías Élite y Youth.
En esta IX edición del Triatlón de La Habana, el estadounidense Braxton Legg fue el flameante campeón luego de consagrarse campeón en la categoría Élite masculina. Por su parte, en la división Élite femenina, la mexicana María López fue quién se hizo del primer lugar quedándose así con el lugar más alto del podio y la medalla de oro.
En las categorías Youth, clasificatorias a los Juegos Panamericanos Junior Asunción 2025, el cubano Marcos Fernández se impuso en la categoría 18-21 masculina, mientras que Zoe Adam, de Puerto Rico, se quedó con la victoria en la división femenina.
Con estos resultados, se cierra una nueva edición del Triatlón de La Habana, primera Copa Panamericana de Triatlón de 2025. Felicitaciones a los ganadores y a todos los triatletas que formaron parte de la competencia.

This past weekend, Marina Hemingway in Havana, Cuba, hosted the first Pan American Triathlon Cup of the year. The event brought together some of the region’s top triathletes, who competed in the Elite and Youth categories.
In this ninth edition of the Havana Triathlon, American athlete Braxton Legg emerged victorious, claiming the title in the Elite Men’s category. Meanwhile, in the Elite Women’s division, Mexico’s María López secured first place, earning the top spot on the podium and the gold medal.
In the Youth category, which served as a qualifier for the Junior Pan American Games Asunción 2025, Cuban triathlete Marcos Fernández dominated the 18-21 Men’s division, while Zoe Adam of Puerto Rico took the win in the 18-21 Women’s category.
With these results, another edition of the Havana Triathlon comes to a close, marking the first Pan American Triathlon Cup of 2025. Congratulations to the champions and all the athletes who took part in the competition!
