Australian Paralympian Nic Beveridge joins Paralympian Lauren Steadman (GBR) in our next episode of Going Beyond, to share his story.At 17 years old Nic Beveridge became being paralysed from the waist down. He had transverse myelitis, a rare and aggresive neurological condition which attacks the spinal cord. During a hospital visit during the London 2012 Paralympic Games and inspired by Australia’s Bill Chaffey, a five-time world champion in Para Triathlon, he began to research his options in para sport.
