Janos M. Schmidt is a freelance photographer based in Budapest, Hungary and he has been one of the official photographers for ITU for many years. Janos is not a full-time sports photographer. In fact, he is an award-winning photojournalist. Some of his accolades include winning the prize for Best Sport and Best News Picture in his home nation of Hungary. He also has won multiple awards for his mobile photography where he captures street pictures in black and white.
