DEAR ATHLETES, WE’RE FACING A CHANGE TO SATURDAY’S RACE FORMAT. DUE TO AN ACCIDENTAL WASTEWATER DISCHARGE, DALLAS COUNTY HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES HAS SUSPENDED ALL ACTIVITY ON LAKE CAROLYN, WHERE THE SWIM PORTION OF THE TRIATHLON WAS SUPPOSED TO TAKE PLACE.

THE RACE WILL NOW FOLLOW THE SPRINT DUATHLON FORMAT OF A 5KM RUN, 20KM BIKE, 2.5KM RUN. AS PER THE COMPETITION RULES, POINTS WILL BE REDUCED TO 75% AND THE PRIZE MONEY WILL REMAIN UNCHANGED.

Athletes Briefing:

ITU Athlete Meeting will be June 5th 6pm at the Marriott Las Colinas.  Per ITU rules, all athletes are required to attend the athlete meeting.  Race packets will be given out directly following the meeting.
