Athletes Briefing:

Roatan Island is the host of this important event for the fourth year in a row. Roatan is the largest island of the Bay Islands, an archipielago part of Honduras territory in the Caribbean.

The race which starts and finishes in front of the Host Hotel, the Mayan Princess, is located on West Bay Beach. This has been named among the best TOP 10 beaches by a famous travel magazine in 2004.

The swim takes place over coral gardens, in crystal clear and calm waters of West Bay.

The bike course is completely closed to traffic, and is among the most challenging courses in the continent with 18, 19, and 20 percent inclines to add more fun. After the first hilly 5km, you arrive to the loop which consists of easy rolling hills, 15km long (loop is done twice).

The run happens in private roads, and shady trails taking you to the Western-most tip of the island, or Lands End. You will get views of the ocean down below, and finally finish on the white beach of West Bay for a beach party, fresh tropical fruit, and refreshments.

;Race starts promptly at 7:30am on March 25th, in front of the Mayan Princess Hotel in West Bay Beach.
