He was born without the lower part of his left arm. After 12 years of international swimming he sought out a new challenge. David was new to the British Paratriathlon squad in 2013 having come from a swimming background. He competes in the PT4 category. Previously was GB Paralympics’ youngest athlete at the Athens Games in 2004; aged just 15 he competed in the final of the 100m Backstroke.
