Taylor Knibb was back in Edmonton for her second World Cup of the year and looking to build on silver in Tiszaujvaros in another sprint-distance hit out before returning to the Series in London. Race number one Marta Kropko was chasing a first World Cup podium, while deep Italian and US teams were also very much in the hunt for the podium places.
