Just days after Hurricane Erick blew into Mexico's Pacific Coast, only a huge clean up operation by organisers made the 2025 Huatulco World Cup a possibility. With athletes' arrivals delayed and more rain to greet the athletes on race day, tactics and concentration were paramount. Fan favourite Rosa Maria Tapia (MEX) wore the number one, but continental stars like Djenyfer Arnold, Carolina Velasquez and Erika Ackerlund were ready to face the challenge!
