It was Team Germany with the number ones for the first Mixed Relay Series since they seized the Olympic gold in grand style in Paris, and a young team featuring three debutants alongside another relative newcomer Henry Graf taking up the duties in Abu Dhabi.
Graf was part of the 2024 World Championship winning squad, but how would the best team in the world right now hold up against an experienced American side featuring Olympic silver medallists Morgan Pearson and Taylor Spivey, as well as firing Italian, Spanish, British, Swiss, Dutch and Portuguese quartets?
