The XXXVIII World Triathlon Congress 2025 is taking place in Wollongong, Australia, bringing together National Federations from around the world for one of the sport’s key international events.

By official invitation, the delegation of the Russian Triathlon Federation, led by First Deputy Head Olesya Kniazeva, took part in the Congress.

The agenda focused on the strategic development of World Triathlon, preparations for the upcoming Olympic cycle, and the strengthening of international cooperation. Following the Congress, two new disciplines - Fitness Run and Swim Run - were officially added to the World Triathlon programme.

The Russian Triathlon Federation continues its active work on the international stage, helping strengthen the country’s position within the global sports community.
