After an extensive period of consultation, development and preparation, World Triathlon is proud to introduce the Age-Group Rankings, a new system designed to reinforce and elevate recognition of performance and participation of Age-Group racing worldwide.

In this initial phase, the Rankings will include results from World Championships and Continental Championships across all Multisport disciplines. This marks an important step in formalising the outstanding performances delivered by World Triathlon Age-Group athletes competing on the sport’s biggest stages.

From first time qualifiers to seasoned competitors, Age-Group athletes are the heartbeat of triathlon. The rankings provide an opportunity to track progress, benchmark performance and highlight the depth and strength of the World Triathlon Age-Group community.

Designed with the future in mind, the World Triathlon Age-Group Rankings system will continue to evolve, with the potential to expand to additional events and further strengthen recognition pathways for athletes around the world.
