The Chile Triathlon Federation has announced the postponement of the 2025 World Triathlon Cup in Vina del Mar, Chile, originally scheduled for April 12-13, 2025. The Brazil Triathlon Federation has also decided to postpone the 2025 World Triathlon Cup in Brasilia, originally scheduled for April 19-20, 2025. 

Both events will now take place at the end of the 2025 season, on consecutive weekends. Final confirmation of the dates will be announced in the coming weeks. 

In the case of Vina del Mar, the event had to be postponed due to a scheduling conflict with a qualification event for the Youth PanAm Games in Asuncion, Paraguay. In the case of Brasilia, the Organising Committee has decided to move the event also to the end of the season to allow both events to happen consecutively, making it more sustainable for athletes and teams, as per the original schedule. 

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience these changes may cause to athletes, coaches, and fans who have been preparing for the events. Both Federations and LOCs are  committed to working closely with World Triathlon to finalize the new dates as quickly as possible and ensure a successful competition.
