Traditional multisport competitions, including the Swiftman Winter Triathlon, are being held in the Kirov Region.

On the first day of the event, the Russian Championship and National Winter Triathlon Championships came to a close.

In 2022, the Russian Championship and National Championships were held in a new format aligned with international standards.

Athletes completed a demanding course made up of six segments: 3.5 km run, 6 km bike, 5 km ski, followed by another 3.5 km run, 6 km bike, and 5 km ski. During the race, competitors passed through the transition zone five times.
