Today in Moscow, the winners of the Russian Triathlon Championships in the standard distance were crowned. The race took place as part of the League Triathlon & Ironstar Moscow 226 festival - fierce competition, the strongest athletes, and new names in the history of Russian triathlon.

Introducing the women’s field of the Russian Middle Distance Triathlon Championships! The country’s strongest athletes took part in pursuit of the title of Russian Champion.

Athletes tackled 1.5 km of swimming with a beach run exit, 40 km of cycling, and 10 km of running.

Dmitry Karpeev is the 2026 Russian Champion in the standard distance! 

A strong swim, an amazing bike leg that will stay in the history of Russian triathlon, a 15-second penalty and still Dmitry Karpeev first starts running. Then came a real battle to the very last meters! On the run, Grigory Antipov (six-time Russian Champion in the standard distance) nearly caught Dmitry Karpeev, but Dmitry Karpeev took the victory!
