Representatives of the Russian Triathlon Federation - Mr. Nikita Nagnibedov, Senior coach of the Russian Paratriathlon National team, and Mrs. Tatiana Kuntsevich, Head of the National team - were taking part in the International Conference “Current Issues in Sport-Functional Classification.”
The event was being held on the initiative of the Paralympic Committee of Russia, with the support of the Russian Ministry of Sport and the Russian Sports Foundation.
Key topics include the development of classification systems, international cooperation, issues of fairness and athlete safety, as well as practical and technical aspects of classification in adaptive sport.
We would like to highlight the presentation by Mrs. Guzel Idrisova, Candidate of Medical Sciences and Head of the Paralympic Committee of Russia Commission on Anti-Doping and Athlete Classification. Her speech was marked by a high level of professional expertise and a deep understanding of the specifics of sport-functional classification.
