World Triathlon, in coordination with the Local Organising Committee (LOC), would like to announce the postponement of the World Triathlon Para Cup Tegernsee to the 2027 season.

This decision follows a thorough internal review by both World Triathlon and the LOC. While the venue at Tegernsee was confirmed to be well suited for a Para World Cup, the LOC has determined that additional time is required to guarantee an event that meets the high standards expected by athletes and stakeholders.

To ensure the full implementation of necessary optimizations, the LOC has made the responsible decision to extend the planning phase.

The project remains a high priority for World Triathlon and the local region. The Mayor of Gmund am Tegernsee has reaffirmed full support for the event's delivery in 2027. We will use the coming months to refine the course concept and finalize all operational structures to provide a world-class experience for the Para triathlon community.
