With less than four months to go, everything is ready in beautiful Penticton (Canada) to be the Mecca of triathlon this summer with the inaugural ITU Multisport World Championship Festival. Course maps for all six World Championship races have been released, and you still have a chance to register to participate in the event. Hurry up and start training, no matter where you come from, you will be more than welcome in Penticton this summer.
The Multisport Festival is a massive 10 day celebration of triathlon that will see triathletes from all over the world vying for six different multisport titles. And we are not only talking about elite athletes, we will also have open races in all six categories.
So you are still able to choose from every race option at the festival: aquathlon, aquabike, cross triathlon, sprint duathlon, standard duathlon, and long distance triathlon. And you will race exactly on the same course as the World Championship race.
You better get your training done quickly, because if you are planning to compete in four of the World Championship events, you will be crowned a Multisport Legend and will receive a special ultra-exclusive belt buckle, will be honoured at a special awards ceremony on Sunday, August 27th and will have bragging rights for life.
The City of Penticton has so much to offer for athletes, spectators and visitors from all around the world. There is something for everyone who comes to visit!
