Evgeny Tikhonin delivered a standout performance at the IRONMAN 70.3 Desaru Coast international race in Malaysia. This event served as a key milestone in his preparation for the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship, set to take place in September in Nice.
🏆 Evgeny showed a confident victory with time of 3:49:36. This win marks his third IRONMAN 70.3 career title and his second victory of the 2026 season.

Singapore is perhaps the most impressive city I have ever visited. The combination of massive skyscrapers with an incredible amount of tropical greenery - sometimes growing right inside those high-rises - breaks all the usual stereotypes about soulless megacities and makes the race truly unforgettable! In the women's race, Russian athlete Maria Kurchenko claimed the overall victory with a time of 4:20:27.
