On 7 September 2024, Ksenia Shoygu was re-elected for a four-year term as President of the Russian Triathlon Federation. She has led the federation since 2020.

Following her re-election, Shoygu outlined the main priorities for the new term. These include supporting the participation of Russian athletes in the 2028 Olympic Games, as well as the construction of a Triathlon Center. Other key goals are to increase the number of technical officials and to involve more children in the sport.
