Heavy rain and strong winds made the course especially challenging, testing the athletes both physically and mentally. Despite the difficult conditions, athletes from across the country showed impressive resilience.

In the women’s race, Diana Isakova and Valentina Ryasova moved to the front on the bike leg and made a gap from the rest. Near the end of the first bike lap, Ryasova accelerated and pulled away from Isakova, while Isakova was unable to close the gap on the final run.

In the men’s race, Roman Mineev, Denis Kolobrodov, and Georgii Klimenko attempted an early breakaway on the opening run. By the third lap of the bike leg, they were joined by a larger chasing group featuring Denis Kolobrodov, Ilya Prasolov, Dmitrii Polianskii, Grigorii Antipov, Mikhail Bastrakov, and Georgii Klimenko.

Prasolov made the quickest transition and controlled the rest of the race, crossing the finish line first.
