Durban, South Africa, 6 and 7 May 2010 – Thanos Nikopoulos, manager of ITU Technical Operations, presented the ITU Technical Official Level 2 course for Africa. Participants from Egypt, Kenya, Mauritius, South Africa, Tunisia, and Zimbabwe were present. ATU President, Liesbeth Stoltz was also in attendance. Part of the application of the session, was designing the course for the 2011 African Games that will take place in Maputo, Mozambique. The twenty-three delegates also participated in a practical session as officials at the African Triathlon Champs, which was held on the 9th of May 2010.
