Kendall Gretsch (USA) produced both the fastest bike (32:56) and run (13:29) splits of the category but ran out of road, finishing 14 seconds adrift for silver. Emelia Perry (USA), also quick off the bike, completed an all-American podium chase with the bronze.

Marc has to settle for silver, Hannah Longmire (USA) completed the podium in third.

Richter was able to take home an excellent silver with Moore earning bronze.

MEN'S REPORTS
PTWC (Wheelchair)
Frenchman Louis Noel clocked the fastest swim of the men’s wheelchair athletes and then was typically quick through the first transition, but nobody could touch Joseph Fritsch for pace on the bike as he pulled his way through the field. Florian Brungraber (AUT) was also going well up front before compatriot Thomas Fruehwirth (AUT) moved through with the second-fastest bike split of the category and held his nerve over the final 5km, the current World Champion taking the gold by a full minute from Brungraber, exciting newcomer Fritsch with the bronze on Series debut as he makes the move from Para cycling look comfortable.
PTS2
Wim De Paepe (BEL) set the pace from the gun, leading the 750m swim back in and then adding the fastest bike split to build a healthy cushion on the field. Jules Ribstein (FRA) dug in with the quickest run of the category of 20m04s, but ultimately ran out of course as De Paepe held his nerve to take gold by just five seconds. The ever-consistent Lionel Morales (ESP) came through to claim bronze, Namibia’s Jeromius Rooi fourth.
PTS3
Daniel Molina (ESP) took a commanding lead out of the water in the men’s PTS3 only to see the gap disintegrate on the bike. It was Henry Urand (GBR) who produced a brilliant 20km to seize control of the race. Urand then dropped an 18m36s time over the 5km to soar to gold by a minute and a half as Molina took silver. Stylianos Malakopoulos’s (GRE) fastest run split of the category (18m24s) saw him scythe through to the bronze.

Alexis Hanquinquant (FRA) was once again untouchable in the men’s PTS5, lan excellent swim and fluid transition setting up a bike-run masterclass. After clocking 28m05s for the 20km bike, the lead was unassailable, Pierre Antoine-Baele’s 16m33s time over the 5km just inside that of his compatriot to take the fastest split and the silver, Nil Riudavets Victory with bronze.
PTS5
PTS5 produced the tightest finish of the day, with Filipe Marques (POR) taking charge of the swim to lead the group out and onto the bike. USA’s Chris Hammer was once more in full flight on two wheels but couldn’t close the gap enough to challenge for the medals as home favourite Martin Schulz rose to the occasion, holding off Canada’s Stefan Daniel in silver. Marques would get his reward with the bronze narrowly ahead of Bence Mocsari, Hammer finishing in fifth.
PTVI (Visually Impaired)
Dave Ellis (GBR), guided once again by Luke Pollard, was able to shrug off the heat and soak up the thrill of a first Para Series Hamburg on the occasion of his 40th birthday. Heading out hard to chase down Antoine Perel and Sam Harding, Ellis was able to deliver three outstanding segments to take the tape. Australia’s Harding took silver with a 16m22 time over the 5km run, Perel hanging tough with bronze.
