Due to the temporary closure of Los Álamos Beach in Torremolinos, the Europe Triathlon Cup event will now be held as a duathlon.

This decision follows an official ban on swimming introduced by Torremolinos City Council after recent water quality tests showed levels that make bathing unsafe.

As a result, and in the interest of athlete safety, event organisers have adapted the competition format.
