Tarragona Sets the Dates for the 2026 Europe Triathlon Championships: 13–14 June

The 2026 Europe Triathlon Championships in Olympic distance, to be held in Tarragona, now has confirmed dates: Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 June. The Port of Tarragona will be the heart of an event that will bring together Europe’s elite athletes and thousands of triathletes across all categories.

Tarragona’s selection as host city was unanimously approved by the Europe Triathlon Executive Board. The announcement of the dates marks another milestone in the countdown to a championship that will feature Elite, Para Triathlon and Age Group races in both Sprint and Standard distances.

In the coming months, Europe Triathlon, FETRI, the City of Tarragona, the Sports Department of the Government of Catalonia, the Port Authority of Tarragona, and the Catalan Triathlon Federation will work closely together to finalise the competition weekend, courses and schedules for all categories. An International Showcase

The Tarragona 2026 Europe Triathlon Championships will gather hundreds of triathletes from across Europe and attract thousands of visitors throughout the competition weekend.
