En el marco del Campeonato Panamericano de Triatlón y Paratriatlón que se disputa este fin de semana en Calima, Colombia, se llevó a cabo un Congreso que reunió a representantes de todas las federaciones nacionales para tratar temas vinculados a las competencias y a la planificación institucional.

Durante la jornada se presentó un informe de las actividades realizadas hasta la fecha y se expusieron los Indicadores Clave de Desempeño (KPI) para el próximo ciclo de cuatro años. Además, se oficializó la conformación del equipo Americas Team y se aprobaron los nuevos estatutos de la Confederación.

El encuentro contó con la presencia del presidente de World Triathlon, Antonio Fernández Arimany.

Las competencias correspondientes al Campeonato Panamericano de Triatlón y Paratriatlón comenzarán este sábado y se extenderán hasta el domingo 8 de junio.

AMERICAS TRIATHLON CONGRESS HELD IN CALIMA

As part of the Pan American Triathlon and Paratriathlon Championships taking place this weekend in Calima, Colombia, a Congress was held, bringing together representatives from all national federations to address issues related to competition and institutional planning.

During the session, a report on the activities carried out to date was presented, along with the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the next four-year cycle. In addition, the formation of the Americas Team was made official, and the Confederation’s new statutes were approved.

The meeting was attended by the President of World Triathlon, Antonio Fernández Arimany.

The Pan American Triathlon and Paratriathlon Championship races will begin this Saturday and continue through Sunday, June 8.
