World Triathlon wants to inform that, as approved by the XXXVIII World Triathlon Congress, held in Wollongong, Australia, on October 18 th 2025, World Triathlon has proceeded to sanction with a caution Triathlon Denmark and Triathlon Canada, as set out in Article 23.a of the World Triathlon Constitution, for improper conduct, damaging the image and functioning of World Triathlon and the sport of triathlon.

These cautions are effective immediately. World Triathlon is currently working on the strategic plan to grow triathlon worldwide, and hopes to return to working with Triathlon Denmark and Triathlon Canada in this regard in the near future.
