Hamburg 2027 is locked in! We are thrilled to announce that the 2027 World Triathlon Championship Finals will head to the iconic city of Hamburg, Germany.

2027 WORLD TRIATHLON CHAMPIONSHIPS HAMBURG 8–12 September 2027
Hamburg will host the 2027 Triathlon Age-group World Championships over Sprint distance Triathlon, Standard distance Triathlon, Standard distance Aquabike and Mixed Relay Triathlon, from 8–12 September.
With more than 500,000 spectators lining the compact downtown courses around Rathausmarkt, Jungfernstieg, and the Alster Lake, the extraordinary scale of the event makes it an iconic classic venue in the sport. During the event week, a total of more than 16,000 participants from over 70 nations, are expected!
2026 WORLD TRIATHLON CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES HAMBURG
Entries for the 2026 World Triathlon open races in Hamburg are filling fast, with limited spots remaining in the Sprint distance and Relays. With the same iconic course hosting the 2027 World Championships, this presents the perfect opportunity to test yourself, familiarise with the course and experience one of the sport's most electric race environments. 2026 WORLD TRIATHLON CHAMPIONSHIPS PONTEVEDRA
Do you know that by securing a Top 3 in your category at the 2026 World Triathlon Championship Finals in Pontevedra you will secure a spot for 2027 World Championships? The top 3 finishers in each Age-Group category at the Sprint and Standard Triathlon World Championships will receive an automatic qualification sport for the following year's event.
